I had a waist.

And long hair.
And we threw a party.

And we ate good food that I can barely remember.
And we danced.
And cut cake.
And most importantly, I married my favorite friend.

It was a great day!

And the past two years have been even better!

(Although I really do wish I could have that meal again and actually enjoy it.)
(And can someone please tell me how it feels like forever ago and like it was just last week at the same time?)

And now we have this little munchkin.

Life is good.

Happy Anniversary, Jared!

  1. There's this great British TV show called Coupling and in one of the episodes one of the characters says, "How do you measure time with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with? Eons? Nanoseconds?"

That's how it feels like forever and just a moment ago...because it always is.

  2. Happy Anniversary, Katrina! I know how you feel - Kris and I just celebrated our 6 year anniversary on the 1st and I was shocked it's been so long... In one respect I can't remember what life was like without him, but on the other hand it feels like our wedding was just yesterday! I marvel when I look at our two little ones - it's like 'when did this happen??' It's great, isn't it?? :)

  3. Hey, congratulations to both of you. I can't believe that it has been two years already ... and that it has only been two years! I guess that's just how it goes. I feel the same way about Adam.

  4. Happy Anniversary! I know what you mean about time going both fast and slow . . . it's weird.
