new york times polling place photo project

The Polling Place Photo Project is a nationwide experiment in citizen journalism that encourages voters to capture, post and share photographs of this year’s primaries, caucuses and general election. By documenting local voting experiences, participants can contribute to an archive of photographs that captures the richness and complexity of voting in America.

I thought this was a really cool idea so I posted my photos from when we voted a couple weeks ago. Here is my contribution. People from all over the country have posted photos. What a fun way to celebrate our right to vote!

And if you haven't voted yet-- GO VOTE NOW!!!!

  1. Very cool! I saw something on cnn about i-reports for the election. I thought about doing it but couldn't too well being a poll worker. Love the light beams.
