i sure like this girl

Last night Grace asked me, "Do you have any kids?"

And thinking she was being sort of silly, because of course if I did she would know by now, I answered, "No."

"Yes, you do! We're your kids! You do have kids!"

I smiled and hugged her and said, "Oh yes of course! You are my kids!"

I was touched.

Then we talked about how many more I should have, which fluctuated somewhere between 2 and 100. I'm thinking it will be closer to 2.
