"Well that's great! I like being six months old."
Why don't you tell us a little about what it's like to be six months old?
"Ok. I can sit up. It's really fun."
"I have nice chunky legs and chubby toes."
"I really like to suck and chew on my bottom lip."
"And I still cry sometimes. Like when my mom has been taking pictures of me for too long."
Other things about Asher at six months:
He's getting very good at grabbing and holding and seems to be showing a preference for his left hand. (His daddy is very excited about that.)
He's very loud! He likes to yell and shriek when he's playing.
He plays with his toys more and more.
He's still not very excited about solid food. We keep trying every day though.
He likes to throw himself around. He leans to get things.
He loves cups and will take drinks from them.
He loves looking at himself in the mirror.
He loves interacting with other kids.
He laughs a lot.
He grabs our faces and gives us kisses.
His eyes are still blue--mostly. They seem to get murkier all the time.
But they sure are beautiful.
It's still anyone's guess as to what color they will end up.
(They are actually darker in person. It's hard to tell what color they are in person.)
*Jan. 23-- Asher had his 6 month appointment and is in the 75th percentile across the board. He's 27 inches long and 17 pounds 11 ounces. We think he's perfect!
