will be March 4th!!! That's less than two weeks away! I can't wait to see my baby and hopefully find out whether I can start buying pink clothes or blue clothes.
I usually go by how high the heart rate has been, when they let you hear it. I think girls hearts are faster, if I remember that old wives' tale correctly. It worked with both of my girls. So, I would have to hear that first. I have successfully predicted the gender of all 5 of my older brother's kids, including a set of identical twins. But I think it's the whole close in age, competition thing.
I'm impressed with your prediction skills. I just heard the heartbeat on Tuesday but have no context whether it is fast or not. It didn't seem as fast as the first time we heard it.
How exciting!! I am going to guess - BOY! I can't wait to see the hair color. My cousin has red hair like you and her husband has dark, dark brown. They have a son and a daughter and the boy looks just exactly like the dad with the dark hair and the daughter looks like my cousin with that beautiful red hair - they are all so cute. My brother also has a red-headed son - really pretty red hair. But, his daughter is blonde. Neither my SIL or brother are red-heads, but it comes from my SIL side of the family I guess - and maybe a bit on my side (since my cousin has red hair). Can't wait to see if your baby has your red hair.
Funny that I was in your dream! Have a good day Katrina - see you later. Kellan
i vote boy...mostly because that's what i want first. also because i feel like there is an overabundance of girl babies right now (although it may just be that my ward has a disproportionate representation) and we need some cute boys to balance it out.
Oh, I remember those two weeks . . . they felt like an eternity! Good luck sleeping!
I'm going to vote girl, mostly because I can only imagine baby girls right now since I'm having one :). It's so strange that one moment, you don't know and the next, you do.
Also, the baby became so much more real to me once I knew she was "our little girl." So exciting!

We met the end of July, got engaged at Thanksgiving, and married in March. So the wedding planning wasn't all that fast. It really doesn't take that long to plan a wedding if you just buckle down and get it done. Get help from your mom or a friend or your fiance! though to help take the pressure off. I don't understand how people take a year to plan a wedding.
I'm guessing boy because it seems like everyone was having girls for a little while and now the trend seems to be changing to boys. Plus, we need to add some boys to the Iverson clan!!!
Oh I am guessing a girl, just because I feel like everyone I know that is pregnant right now are having girls! But if it is a boy....you'll love it! FOr some reason I really wanted Jackson to be a girl (I think all the fun accessories and dresses that girls have made it so desirable). But I have loved being the mom to a little boy! They are so fun. You are going to make such a great Mom!

ReplyDeleteNicki, that's because I have absolutely no idea!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a girl. Your guess?
ReplyDeletehey, random question(s) - how long had you known Jared before getting engaged? and how did you pull off planning a wedding so fast?!

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing girl, too. For the same reasons - it seems to me like everyone is having girls. So far, all I have or am getting are nieces.
